February 4th, 2010: A state-of-the-art, aquaculture company in Centre Burlington, near Windsor, is expanding into new markets across Canada and the Northeastern United States with help from the province.

Hants West MLA Chuck Porter says he is pleased with recommendations of a report examining storm day policies in Nova Scotia. Better communication with parents, and contingency plans to make up for lost instructional time from snow days are among the issues brought forward in the report. School Storm Days in Nova Scotia: A Discussion Paper, released last week, makes six recommendations to keep school boards as prepared as possible for poor weather conditions.

Nov 16th, WINDSOR - Applications for the Heating Assistance Rebate 2009-2010 are now available at the office of Hants West MLA Chuck Porter. “I want to make sure that Hants West constituents are aware of programs, especially ones like this that can make a big difference to a family trying to keep their home warm over the winter months,” said Porter.
